We are pleased to announce that effective March 29, 2023 J.D. Barnes Limited has acquired the professional land surveying practice of MacAulay White & Muir Ltd. located in Brantford.

MacAulay White & Muir Ltd. is a professional services firm providing OLS & CLS expertise in legal, construction and engineering surveys. The firm offers comprehensive consulting services to clients primarily throughout Southwestern Ontario.

J.D. Barnes Limited and its subsidiaries offer Surveying, Mapping and GIS to a complete range of clients throughout Canada and the US. As an employee owned company with a 63 year history, the firm has developed an organizational culture that encourages and rewards innovation, diligence, teamwork and client satisfaction.

MacAulay White & Muir Ltd. will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of J.D. Barnes Limited. The merger of these two firms will strengthen the resources and product offerings that both firms provide to their clients and continues J.D. Barnes Limited’s plans for growth through strategic acquisitions.
